Itineraries

Meet our tour driver (guide) at the airport or hotel and drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Murchison falls National Park is one of the largest and most popular National Parks in Uganda, known for its diverse wildlife, including lions, elephants, leopards, giraffes, and many species of birds. It is also home to the Nile River and the famous Murchison Falls, where the Nile River crashes through a narrow gorge before plunging 43 meters into the pool below. Enjoy the concentration of hippos and Nile crocodiles up close. En route to Murchison Falls National Park, you will visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for your first Big Five experience where you will have an hour of Rhino tracking. Continue to the park and check in to your accommodation to relax for the evening.
Have breakfast and set off on a morning game drive through the park in search of animals, which include elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, buffalo, hartebeest among others. For anyone with an interest in birding, there are plenty of bird species to see along the drive, which includes the elusive shoe bill stork, the white-thigh hornbill and the dwarf kingfisher among others. Go back to the accommodation to rest and enjoy your lunch. Following lunch, you will go on a boat ride to the base of Murchison Falls, where you will also have the opportunity to see additional wildlife, such as hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds.
After breakfast this morning, it's time to board the vehicle and drive to the top of the Murchison Falls. Here the Nile water compresses into a narrow gorge down forming a thunderous roar and a beautiful rainbow. If that is not your cup of tea, spend the morning on a transfer game drive exploring more wildlife such as giraffes, buffaloes, and elephants among others. Today as the final day of the tour, you will travel back to Entebbe with a stop over to have lunch.
